It's a Pee Party in Morghan's Crib

So, where is Morghan's cast in these picture's you ask?? Well, she took it upon herself to take her diaper off during her nap and peed all over the place including all over her ace wrap over her splint. So I had to wash it along with all her stuffed animals and everything else in her crib. Just because I love changing the sheets on the crib, ha ha. I hope everyone can agree with me that changing the sheets on the crib is a pain in the butt, first keeping the bed skirt straight, then getting it around the bumper pad, then pulling the sheet down around the edges once it's in the crib, I hate it!!! So I decided while her ace bandage was in the wash I would take some pics without her cast on. I was a little nervous with her walking around without it for fear she would fall and rebrake it but she didn't fall. She will not smile anymore for pictures, she used to be so photogenic and smile for every picture, now she tells me "no" everytime I tell her to smile. I think it's because she has had a camera in her face since the day she was born.

Folks we have witnessed a 20 pounder!!


We went on a little family fishing trip which turned out to be pretty fun! Morghan was at first scared of the fish (suprise), but at the very end we got her to touch one and even kiss one. Well, Nate caught the first fish but it didn't take me long to reel one in, cuz you know everything has to be a competition!!! The fish weren't that big but they were biting like crazy. We brought a couple home for Nate to eat of course, I wouldn't eat one if you paid me. The dogs had a blast, once again we found out the big tough boy Dozer is scared of everything and Lucy jumped right in and tried biting and playing with each fish we caught. Good little trip before the weather starts to change.

Just an update!

A little update on Morgy's arm. I took her to the doctor on Monday, expecting that it would be all healed because in his own words at the first appointment was "Baby's heal so fast, in fact if I x-rayed it right now it would probably be healed." Well after the exciting x-ray (not exciting at all with Morghan kicking and screaming) it was determined that it is still broke and so she is to wear the splint for 2 more weeks. She's fine with it, anyone and everyone we see she holds up her arm and says "Owie, see my Owie." Now me and Nate have owies too, which she bandages us up with the wash clothes out of the kitchen drawer! So another two weeks to go hopefully!

A Little Taste Of Heaven...well sort of!

Well there comes a time in my life each year where life gets just a bit more exciting, and that time is almost near. Only 16 more days, yes 16 more days until Grey's Anatomy premiere!!! I am looking forward to all the McDreamy, McSteamy and everything else that the wonderful show has to offer! My addiction is actually getting worse, I'm not quite to the point of stalking the actors, or writing them fan mail, or anything like that, but I refuse to miss an episode. Thursday nights at 8 o'clock is MY time. Just me, not morghan, not Nate, not the dogs. Just me, my TV, and my Grey's Anatomy.
