I'm Broken!!!

After months and months of trying to conceive, and lots and lots of pain in my back, I decided to go to a fertility specialist. To no suprise, it was not good news. After the "good old" exam he came to the conclusion that I have endometriosis. So I had 2 choices: One, to do nothing resulting in Morghan be an only child and me being in pain forever, or two, go through with the surgery in hopes that I will get pregnant after. So..of course I scheduled the surgery. Now everyone just keep there fingers crossed and say a little prayer that he fixes me so I can at least have one more baby. My surgery is scheduled on December 3rd. I'm not really scared of the surgery, in fact I'm no stranger to surgery. My female parts have been screwed up since I came out of the womb, so I should have known, but I guess I was in denial. So off I go exposing myself to yet another surgical team...yipee! The things us women do!

Oh honey! Hang in there! I'm sorry that you have to have surgery...AGAIN! It DOES seem like you've been under the knife more than most people!! I'll be praying for you! Why is it that some people can get knocked up without even trying and some of us have to be VERY patient in order to get prego? Not fair!!! Hope you get "fixed up!" :)

So, I don't know that much about endometriosis. What will they be doing in the surgery? How long does it take to recover? What was it like last time? I hope it's not too much. I am just curious.

Good luck.

I've had endometriosis 3 times. And still have been able to get pregnant! The best thing you can do if you want to get pregnant again is to have the surgery. It worked for me. I know how you feel though about your women parts not working. I'm still broken. And have to decide if I should just get it all taken out. Good Luck!
